first and foremost! I will talk about my favourite musician that has inspired my music the most:
Gooseworx also known as Cooper Goodwin, is one of the most influential musicians I have ever had the pure luxery of discovering thanks to the internet existing. I remember scrolling through her youtube account for the very first time maybe 6 or 7 years ago as of writing this (2026). I can't remember if it was because I stumbled upon her Undertale Remixes or because of Vivziepop's upload of "Slutty spider Polka Pop"(which is gonna get a WHOLE rant out of me don't ya worry!) but regardless, I remember becoming so transfixed in the incredible ways in which the sounds of music where emitted in such ways that i had never heard before. A mix between such fun and wacky orchestral sounds, yet a videogamey charm to it? I had never heard anything quite like it. and thus She quickly became my absolute favourite musiccian of all time.
I am pretty sure I have listened to all the msic she has ever uploaded online, although, im pretty sure she is a mystical being in the form of a human being, because somehow every few years i keep discovering some old upload somewhere and everytime become mesmerized with how incredible her compositions are! they are just... wow. it's hard to describe just how much i love and adore her work. I am worried of "yapping too much" but this is literally MY website. so like fuck you lol i can do whatever i want.
ok now to actually begin my yaps! So I have already mentioned how much I love her music, but i find it hard to think about how to describe all of the intricasies without going into a whole ANALYSIS MODE with each individual song- which i will do ANYWAYS but.. mh. of course, i am writing this whole text on a whim, it will be changed and improved upon, like an ever changing essay. im getting side tracked again- GOOSEWORKS ! GAH ! the musician of all time! now she may only be known for her TADC show, but i am a real fan, and have been around for way before any of that existed. I've always DREAMED of having her compose a theme song for my own animated projects at some point and the MAIN reason i started composing at all! and I have learnt so much from her music. listening t it over and over and each time noticing new details, now patterns, noticing how the volume of certain instruments differs, how the instruments come together or contrast... it is always oh-so masterful. and even then, there's really NOTHING like her music. Her older songs, seem similair to those of Banjo Kazooie, but with time slowly became their own creations.
I wonder how many people's first full gooseworx soundtracks they have listened to is the TADC OST, especially when i find that the TADC OST is so different from Goose's usual musical highjinks! In fact- when i first heard the TADC ost (and not the main theme or the New home theme) i thought it was from the nintendo videogame Snipperclips and was quite surprised to find out that they are also goose-creations! but i am getting ahead of myself! or am i? i don't know! i'm mostly just exited right now. she really is my favourite musician of all. I can't even begin to descrie how much i love her work.
OK SO if i were to recommend a "listen order" to gooseworx's music, id honestly start with her youtube "originals" playlist BUT VERY IMPORTANT: Start with her own Gooseworx theme song to get into the groove OR starlane Stroll(the Autoplayed song on this page!), listen ALL of that, then check out the individual Albulms, I recomment the Dyslexic Lemons one FIRST, only because it is my most most most most FAVOURITE albulm of all time EVER, then i would check out Spooksworx, Pir8s, and classics (many of which you will recognize from the youtube!). AFTER all of those lovely tunes i would recomment her FANTASTIC undertale remixes and her scores for the Hazbin hotel Pilot- then take a listen to the scores of Elain the bounty hunter, Little Runmo and then only then listen to the tadc scores. of course, if you know gooseworxs and like her works enough to be here, i am sure you have alredy heard all of those lovely tunes haha! regardlesssss i think its fun. that would be my Masterlist of the order in which i would listen to everything uwu
I know i have already started rambling about it but, OH DYLEXIC LEMONS!!! WHAT AN ALBULM IT IS! I can't BELIEVE that Gooseworx said- and i quote "I don't think the finished songs quite hold up to my current standards in terms of mixing and mastering, so I've decided to drop them here, as well as some unfinished ones for FREEEEE." in the albulm trailer on youtube description... like what do you MEAN they don't hold up to the standards!? agh this is my favourite albulm EVERRR and i LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT !!! AND ill make a whole pae dedicated to it talking about each song and all that but hgrgrdkfjdkfjdkfroew ARGH its my favourite :3
